July 26th, 2021 - Draper University, in partnership with Algorand Foundation and Borderless Capital today announced the launch of the Algorand and Draper Blockchain Accelerator Program. The program will support entrepreneurs and early stage projects looking to build applications on the Algorand blockchain. The accelerator is now seeking applications from eligible projects and applications are now open until August 22nd, 2021. You can submit your application here. The launch of the Draper Accelerator follows the success of Algorand Foundation accelerator programs across Asia, Europe and LATAM. The program aims to empower projects to build, grow and foster innovations in the Algorand ecosystem.

Draper University is an ideal education partner for Algorand Foundation with Tim Draper being an early adaptor adopter of blockchain. Draper University and Borderless Capital are also early investors in Lemon Cash, an Algorand platform crypto wallet. Program Details:

The Algorand x Draper Blockchain Program is a ten-week online program and is scheduled from September 7th - November 12th, 2021. Each team selected to participate will be granted $20,000 in funding from Algorand Foundation, plus $15,000 from Borderless Capital for 3% equity. Follow-on funding of up to $500k may be offered to teams displaying exceptional potential and performance. Applications close August 22nd, 2021. The program is open to all blockchain entrepreneurs from around the world, however, admissions are subject to accreditation. The program will comprise LIVE sessions with Algorand platform experts and advisors from the Silicon Valley. For the duration of the 10-week accelerator program selected projects will receive end-to-end support across the spectrum of strategy formulation, go-to-market execution, and subject matter guidance across technological mentorship, token economics, marketing, and fundraising.
