July 1st, 2021 - Having launched the Algorand Foundation Grant Program last year, we have received many submissions from developers and innovators globally who have been eager to participate and grow the Algorand ecosystem. After thorough review and selection, we are delighted to announce that Fortior Blockchain is the latest Grant recipient. Fortior began as the winning submission at the 2021 MIT Bitcoin Expo Hackathon under the name Algorand Autonomous. Fortior Blockchain will deliver software that utilizes artificial intelligence and quantum computing to create governance mechanisms and volatility predictors on the Algorand Blockchain.
Fortior will leverage AI and the Algorand Blockchain to create revolutionary software to power governance protocols that solve many of the problems associated with outdated voting systems and methods. In the spirit of decentralization, Fortior Blockchain is also planning on building an algorithm that can predict price volatilities in Algo, thus enabling members of the wider community to be better informed before making an investment.
Fortior Blockchain will soon release ChoiceCoin, a governance token and Algorand Standard Asset, that powers the Foritor Voting Algorithm. Fortior Blockchain’s Grant award deliverables include:
“We believe working with Algorand and the Algorand Foundation has given us advantages that other Blockchain Organizations are missing”, Archie Chaudhury, CEO and Co-Founder at Fortior Blockchain.
Brian Haney, CIO, at Fortior Blockchain commented, “We are honored to receive this generous grant from the Algorand Foundation. We believe that it is a great opportunity to create some cool technology while also being part of a broader community at Algorand”.
`We're delighted to support Fortior Blockchain’ grant application” said Addie Wagenkneckt of the Algorand Foundation. “Fortior Blockchain will provide autonomy, transparency and decentralization to users and we welcome them to the Algorand ecosystem’.
